Rustic Tablescape November 2010

After viewing tablescapes posted in Between Naps On The Porch, I've finally decided to create my own blog to post my tablescapes.
Hopefully this site will look more pleasing as time goes on.

After several trips to Marshall's and TJ Maxx, I accumulated several pieces of this china Royal Stafford.

All that's missing is the food. I love this china. Wish I enjoyed cooking as much as I do tablescaping. A dinner of pasta and salad should be simple enough. Looks like I just may have a small dinner party to show off this tablescape.

  1. So I take it this is your first? May I be the first to WELCOME you to blogland and Tablescape Thursday. It's such a wonderful outlet for creativitiy and place to find inspiration.

I love your rustic table, and your plates are gorgeous. I would love some myself.
Hmm... TX Max field trip coming on...

  2. Lovely tablescape. Your plates are so pretty, and everything looks warm and inviting.
Welcome to Tablescape Thursday, sounds like it is your first time to participate. There are some very talented ladies that do this every week.
Blessings and nice to meet you here in blogland.

  3. Love the plates!!!!! Love you warm table, great job.

  4. Wonderful table-so warm and the runner is beautiful. Welcome to the treasure that is TT.

I have those dishes as well. And it took several trips to get them, so I know what it took to get a set.

  5. I love that china and also own some, but not the soup bowls!
    Tablescaping is very addictive...

  6. Hi there, and welcome to Tablescape Thursdays!!! We are always delighted to welcome new talent to the fold! It's a fun way to release that creativity that burns down deep inside. :-) I also own that same china pattern, and it is a favorite! Very classic but because it is black & white, it can step up to hang with the best of the contemporary tables. Very nice choice! Again, welcome. Looking forward to seeing lots of your tablescapes in the future!!!

  7. HI Linda...

Oooh...I love, love, LOVE this tablescape, my friend! Such pretty dishes...I'd love a set of these! Hehe! Ohhh...I am a plate addict as well! Really, I need another dish like I need a hole in the head! wink! Well my friend, I am sooo glad that you decided to start a blog so that you can share your beautiful tablescapes with us...this has been such a treat! I'm looking forward to seeing more!!!

Warmest wishes and welcome to the Land of Blog!
